SONIC Project at InfoCom 2026 Conference & Expo

The SONIC project recently concluded its successful participation at the 16th InfoCom Security 2026, held at the Athens Conservatoire from April 29–30. As Greece’s premier annual gathering for security professionals, the event provided a critical forum for exploring the journey toward national and European cyber-resilience.
A Hub for Knowledge Exchange
Represented on-site by partners ADACOM and trustilio, the SONIC project acted as a bridge between technical innovation and regional security policy. The conference served as a vital meeting point for several EU-funded initiatives, allowing our team to engage in a rich exchange of ideas with fellow researchers and project representatives.
Key highlights of these collaborative discussions included:
✔️ Cross-Project Synergies: Exchanging insights with other European projects to align strategies on AI-driven security and critical infrastructure protection.
✔️ Integrated Defense: Discussing shared challenges and solutions with fellow researchers working within the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) framework.
✔️Best Practice Sharing: Comparing methodologies for upskilling security professionals and building trusted digital ecosystems.
Discussing the SONIC Marketplace
In discussions with industry leaders and academic experts, the team highlighted the progress of the SONIC marketplace—an intelligent ecosystem for AI-powered, privacy-preserving cybersecurity tools. These interactions emphasised that the future of digital safety depends on interoperable, human-centric solutions that can effectively address the evolving threat landscape.
Building Future Connections
The participation of ADACOM and trustilio at InfoCom 2026 was instrumental in gathering feedback from the wider security community. The connections made with other innovative projects and security specialists have brought back vital insights that will directly influence the next phases of SONIC’s development, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of European digital resilience.
We thank the organisers and all the fellow project members and experts who engaged with us in Athens to explore opportunities for future cooperation.
