10th NATO Biometrics Technical Interoperability Workshop (NBTIWS) 2026
14 – 15 December 2026The SONIC project is pleased to announce its participation in the 10th iteration of the NATO Biometrics Technical Interoperability Workshop (NBTIWS), taking place in The Hague, The Netherlands, on 14–15 December 2026. Hosted by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) and sponsored by the NATO HQ Defence Industry, Innovation and Armaments Division (D2IA) through the Defence against Terrorism Program of Work (DAT POW), this premier event brings together leaders and experts across NATO Nations, organisations, missions, government, and industry to address today’s rapidly evolving biometrics landscape.
Representing the project on-site will be our partner trustilio. Their active role at the workshop highlights SONIC’s ongoing work in fortifying digital ecosystems against complex security challenges and translating standardisation and technical guidelines into practical, interoperable security measures.
With SONIC actively building its marketplace for smart cybersecurity tools, this event gives us a direct line to international defence, governmental, and industry leaders. It creates a valuable space to demonstrate our progress, build regional partnerships, and ensure our software tools match current technical and interoperability standards.
