SONIC at the 6th Cyber Security Conference 2026
The SONIC project participated in the 6th Cyber Security Conference, held on September 15, 2026, at the Hilton Nicosia Hotel. Organised by IMH and the ISACA Cyprus Chapter under the auspices of the Digital Security Authority, this year’s event centered on the theme “From Compliance to Cyber Resilience.”
The conference brought together regulators, CISOs, technology leaders, and security experts to address the operational impacts of key European regulations, including NIS2, DORA, the EU AI Act, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Discussions focused on transitioning from baseline compliance toward active, machine-speed incident response and resilience.
SONIC project partner ADACOM attended the conference to represent the project and engage with cybersecurity stakeholders across the European ecosystem.
The core objectives of the SONIC project directly align with the challenges highlighted at the event. SONIC delivers an intelligent marketplace for containerised security tools, AI-driven behavioural threat intelligence, and built-in regulatory compliance frameworks to help organisations build long-term operational resilience.
