Our project partner, trustilio B.V., participated in the 21st International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES 2026), held from August 24–27, 2026, in Linköping, Sweden.

Representing both trustilio B.V. (leading Dissemination & Communication for SONIC)  and the SONIC Project, Dr Kitty Kioskli took part in the panel discussion titled “Shared Cybersecurity Paradigm: Aviation Flight vs. Health Care” during the AviHealthSec II session (SecAviation meets SecHealth: Cybersecurity in Critical Infrastructure).

Key Discussion Focus

The panel examined the intersection of cybersecurity across safety-critical domains, bringing together perspectives from aviation and healthcare. The discussion centered on how these two high-consequence sectors can cross-learn from each other to improve resilience, risk management, and cybersecurity practices.

Within this context, Dr Kioskli highlighted insights from the SONIC Project, emphasising the development of secure marketplaces and trust frameworks designed to support sensitive critical infrastructures.
