CYBERUNITY and SONIC Announce Strategic Cybersecurity Collaboration
We are excited to officially announce a new strategic collaboration between two of Europe’s leading cybersecurity initiatives: CYBERUNITY and SONIC. This partnership brings together cutting-edge cyber range training environments and advanced, AI-powered security operations to create a safer, more resilient digital Europe.
While both projects independently address crucial pillars of cybersecurity, their combined efforts will bridge the gap between proactive threat readiness and real-world incident response.
Syncing Cyber Training with Operational Defence
The synergy between CYBERUNITY and SONIC addresses the modern challenges of protecting complex, heterogeneous digital infrastructures:
✔️ CYBERUNITY is pioneering the “Cyber-Range-as-a-Service” (CRaaS) model. By building an interoperable community of Cyber Ranges and an overarching Knowledge Repository, the project is empowering over 2,000 European cyber defenders with cross-border, hands-on training in critical sectors.
✔️ SONIC focuses on enhancing the capabilities of modern Security Operations Centres (SOCs). Through continuous monitoring, advanced threat intelligence, and an intelligent cybersecurity marketplace driven by explainable AI, SONIC enables faster, proactive incident response and seamless tool integration (SIEM, SOAR, CTI).

By joining forces, CYBERUNITY and SONIC aim to establish a seamless pipeline where threat intelligence meets defensive simulation.
