SONIC at the CYBERUNITY Workshop

In a powerful demonstration of European collaboration, the SONIC project was actively represented at the CYBERUNITY workshop, titled “Building the Future of EU Cybersecurity: A joint project showcase.” The physical event, hosted at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) in Thessaloniki, brought together leading cybersecurity initiatives, researchers, and tech pioneers from across Europe to foster synergies and drive next-generation cyber resilience.
Fostering Ecosystem Clustering and Synergy
The workshop served as a vital clustering activity, aiming to bridge the gap between various EU-funded digital security initiatives. As cybersecurity threats grow more sophisticated and interconnected, the European cyber ecosystem relies heavily on joint efforts to break down technological fragmentation.
During the dedicated project presentation sessions, our esteemed partner ISI, the Coordinator of the SONIC Project, took the stage to officially introduce the SONIC project to the European cybersecurity community.
Highlighting the SONIC Vision
Representing the consortium, ISI provided a comprehensive overview of the SONIC project’s architecture, core objectives, and upcoming milestones. The presentation specifically highlighted how SONIC is working to empower Security Operations Centres (SOCs) and enterprise environments through its upcoming, intelligent cybersecurity marketplace.
Looking Ahead
SONIC’c participation to the workshop opened up promising pathways for future clustering, technical exchanges, and potential framework integrations between SONIC and its sister EU initiatives.
We extend our sincere thanks to the CYBERUNITY team for organising such an impactful event, to CERTH for hosting, and to all the participating projects. Together, we are successfully laying down the building blocks for a safer, more resilient digital Europe!
