SONIC Project Showcases Security Vision at the 29th PCI 2026 Conference

SONIC at the 29th Panhellenic Conference on Progress in Computing & Informatics


The SONIC Project was officailly represented at the PCI 2026 conference, hosted by the University of West Attica in Athens. The event served as a vital hub for presenting cutting-edge research and fostering dialogue between European research initiatives.


The presentation, delivered by Dr. Kitty Kioskli trustilio’s CEO & co-founder, detailed the project’s mission to develop a security-first marketplace for intelligent commodity solutions. By participating in this clustering project activity, the SONIC team engaged with peers and experts to discuss the integration of “Security-by-Design” principles into future digital commodity exchanges.

The PCI 2026 conference featured a diverse array of project presentations, including other innovative initiatives such as the Custodes and NERO projects. This collaborative atmosphere allowed the SONIC team—represented by Dr. Kitty Kioskli and Dr. Eleni Seralidou—to exchange insights with other consortiums working on AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
