Cedarcrypt 2026 – Applied Cryptography Summer School & Conference

The SONIC project is going to be represented in the Cedarcrypt – Applied Cryptography Summer School & Conference (Cedarcrypt 2026), taking place in Paphos, Cyprus, from 13–16 July 2026. This new applied cryptography summer school, aims to bring together various stakeholders, including graduate students, early-career researchers and practitioners. Additionally, hands-on workshops and research presentations are included.

Our presence at this year’s event is highlighted by the active participation of our partner, ELECTI. Their involvement reflects SONIC’s deep focus on addressing the multilayered vulnerabilities inherent in the Internet of Things, from insecure cryptographic algorithms to the often-overlooked security gaps in the manufacturing supply chain.
As SONIC continues to develop its operational marketplace for intelligent cybersecurity tools, Cedarcrypt 2026 provides an essential platform to discuss these challenges, particularly in fostering applied cryptography talent and collaboration within the Eastern Mediterranean and Levant regions. Our team will exchange insights on building more reliable, self-defending IoT environments, advancing cryptographic education, and ensuring that European cybersecurity innovations reach the frontline of industrial and consumer technology.
