SONIC Post-Event Highlights – Stakeholders Event 2026
Bridging the Gap Between Policy and Technical Implementation
On June 11th, 2026, the SONIC Project successfully hosted its flagship Stakeholders Event in a hybrid format, combining an on-site gathering at the ADACOM offices in Athens with active online participation. The event generated immense interest across the ecosystem, capturing 71 registered participants from national authorities, industry, and academia. Attendees explored crucial topics, including cross-border SOC interoperability, public infrastructure blueprints, and organisational cyber readiness.

ACM CHI 2026
At the Panathēnea 2026 Festival in Athens, the SONIC project took center stage to showcase its pivotal role in driving cyber resilience and ensuring strict alignment with evolving EU compliance frameworks. Project partners actively engaged with industry innovators and policymakers to demonstrate how SONIC’s cutting-edge technical implementations directly support European cybersecurity regulations and safeguard critical digital infrastructures.
The University of Cyprus team proudly represented the SONIC project at the prestigious ACM CHI 2026 conference. Our partners showcased the project’s innovative strides to an international audience of top-tier researchers and tech innovators, highlighting how SONIC’s research directly advances the field of human-computer interaction and human-centric digital infrastructure design.

CRSN Symposium
CyberHot 2026
We are thrilled to announce that SONIC is joining forces with a collaborative cluster of sister initiatives at the upcoming CRSN EU Symposium 2026. This strategic alignment focuses on establishing cross-project synergies, allowing SONIC to collaborate on unified, large-scale defences and share innovative methodologies to strengthen the resilience of European digital assets.
SONIC is heading to CyberHot 2026! As part of our commitment to capacity building, our experts will actively contribute to this premier cybersecurity summer school, which is proudly co-organised by SONIC partner trustilio. The University of Cyprus (UCY) team will also participate, representing the consortium and sharing cutting-edge research to foster knowledge-exchange and empower the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
